Dr. Mark Kobayashi is an Associate Clinical Professor of surgery at the Aesthetic and Plastic Surgery Institute. He received his medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine, New Orleans, LA, and performed his internship and residency at the University of California, Los Angeles. He completed a fellowship in microsurgery at UCLA in 1993.

Dr. Kobayashi specializes in cometic surgery that includes all areas of plastic surgery including reconstructive and microvascular surgery. His microsurgical expertise is used to recreate a breast following cancer with free tissue transfer.

Dr. Kobayashi is known for his skill, not only as a surgeon but as a caring physician and excellent teacher.
